All in all, the journey aboard the Royal Orient is a magical journey that the visitors would cherish for a lifetime. The trip starts from Delhi Cantonment Station and covers the vibrant states of Gujarat and Rajasthan with places known for temples, historical monuments and wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 1 - Delhi

Journey starts from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station.

DAY 2 - Chittaugarh/Udaipur

Arrival at Chittaurgarh Railway Station to visit Chittaurgarh Fort. Departure for Udaipur, Breakfast on board. Arrival at Udaipur and lunch at the hotel. Post lunch visit the City Palace followed by boating at the lake Pichola and a tour of Sahelion-ki-Bari (Royal Gardens), Shilpgram (Craft Village). Departure for Junagadh. Dinner on board.

DAY 3 - Mehsana/Ahmedabad/
Junagarh/Veraval

Visit graceful destinations of Mehsana and Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Arrival at Ahmedabad via Himmatnagar. Operational halt for one hour. Departure for Junagadh. Breakfast and lunch on board. Arrival at Junagadh to visit Ashokan Rock Edict of 3rd century B.C., Darbar Hall Museum, Mausoleum of Nawab Mahabat Khanji. Departure for Veraval. Arrival at Veraval to visit Somnath (the famous Shiva temple on the shore of the Arabian Sea.) Dinner on Board.

Day 4 - Sasangir/Ahmedpur/Mandvi

Sasangir, Ahmedpur and Mandvi, the famous destinations in Gujarat are covered today. Departure for Sasan Gir. Visit Lion Sanctuary after early breakfast on board. Departure for Delwada. Lunch on board. Arrival at Delwada. Visit Ahmedpur Madvi Beach and Diu. (Fort and St. Paul's Church) Departure for Palitana. Dinner on Board.

Day 5 - Palitana/Sakhrej

Move to Palitana and Sakhrej. Breakast on Board. Arrival at Palitana. Visit 863 Jain Temples atop Shatrunjaya Hills. (3572 steps can be climbed or please use the chairslings arranged for you if you so desire.) Departure for Sarkhej. Lunch on Board. Arrival at Sarkhej. Visit Vishalla village. Dinner at Hotel (From Sarkhej to Ahmedabad by bus.)

Day 6 - Ranakpur/Udaipur

Ranakpur, Udaipur, famous heritage destinations in Rajasthan. Breakfast on Board. Sightseeing of Ahmedabad (Adalaj Stepwell, Gandhi Ashram, Calico museum of Textiles, Sidi Sayyad's Mosque, Shopping etc.). Lunch at the hotel. Departure for Jaipur. Evening tea and dinner on board.

Day 7 - Jaipur

Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Breakfast on board. Arrival at Jaipur. Visit to Amer Fort and an Elephant safari via Hawa Mahal. Lunch at the hotel. Visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar (Observatory) Departure for Delhi. Dinner on Board.

Day 8 - Delhi

Back to Delhi where the journey ends at the Delhi Cantt station.
