About Royal Orient Train
The Royal Orient is one of the world's most lavish trains. Boarding the Royal Orient is a lifetime event, an experience that takes you back to the royal era of Maharajas in the state. The train takes you through the two cultural and colourful states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. The main cities touched by the train are: Chittorgarh, Ahmedabad, Sasangir, Palitana, Ranakpur and Jaipur. This is the only reason why it is also called the Palace on Wheels of Gujarat.
A joint venture of the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and the Indian Railways, the Royal Orient promises you a weeklong memorable itinerary. The 13 coaches and salons are inspired from the mighty kingdoms. Every cabin is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The cabins have spacious baths attached to them, equipped with running hot and cold water. There are multi-cuisine restaurants to tickle your taste buds, as well as a bar- The Watering Hole serving all your favourite beverages. There's even a library on the Royal Orient for all the book lovers in the train.
